  3. Perpetuating factors - These maintain or worsen the condition, such as unhealthy coping or ongoing stress.

  4. Protective factors - These help buffer against mental health problems, including strong relationships and positive habits.

  5. Presenting factors - These are the symptoms and signs that bring someone to seek help.


Educational mental health talks often explain these concepts in relatable ways. This helps people understand their own experiences and those of loved ones. It also highlights areas where intervention can make a difference.
